The Vote Heisman! Presented by Nissan (“Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of 8/29/08. Employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of ESPN/Starwave Partners d/b/a ESPN Internet Venture (“Sponsor”), Nissan North America (“Presenter”) and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising/promotion/fulfillment agencies, anyone else connected with the production and distribution of this Sweepstakes and Project Support Team, Inc. (“Administrator”) (hereafter, collectively “Released Parties”) and their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same household, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. To enter the Sweepstakes online, entrant must be a member of ESPN.com or one of our family of sites (ABC.com, ABCNEWS.com, Disney Online, EXPN.com, Family.com, Movies.com). Registration is free. If entrant is not a member, entrant may register by clicking on the link as indicated on the Sweepstakes entry page and following the instructions. Entrant will be asked to provide his or her name, address, email address, telephone number, birth date, gender and to select a password. Entrant will also be asked to consent to receive promotional emails. Consenting to receive promotional emails is optional and does not have to be agreed to in order to become a member or to win a prize. As a member, entrant may enter the Sweepstakes by first logging in to the system with entrant’s current username and password. Entrant may then be asked to answer survey questions or to consent to receive promotional emails from the Sponsor. Answering survey questions or consenting to receive promotional emails is optional and does not have to be agreed to in order to be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes or to win a prize. Entrants are responsible for insuring that all contact information is up-to-date and accurate.
Timing :
Sweepstakes entry period starts at 12:00:01 a.m. EDT on 8/29/08, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m., EST on 12/5/08 (“Sweepstakes Entry Period”).
How to enter:
Visit www.espn.com between 12:00:00 PM Eastern Time (“ET”) on 8/29/08 and 11:59:59 AM ET on 12/5/08 (“Promotion Period”), complete the espn.com member sign-in, search for keyword “Nissan”, cast your vote for the “Heisman Pick of the Week” and fully complete and submit the online entry form in accordance with the instructions provided to receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry.
Limit:
Limit one (1) entry per person or valid e-mail address per day.
Prize (s):
(4) Grand Prizes: A 3-day/2-night trip for winner plus one (1) guest to New York City to attend the 2008 Heisman Trophy Awards Show currently scheduled for 12/13/08. Trip includes round trip coach air transportation for two (2) from major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner’s primary residence in the U.S., 2-night standard double occupancy hotel accommodations (one (1) room), ground transfers to/from the airport/hotel/show and admission for the winner and his/her guest to the 2008 Heisman Trophy Awards Show. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $4,000.

You did not indicate when the voting would cease. You took down the site without notice. The site would not allow voting, but did not say the contest was over or who won. You have not responded to my prior email requesting an answer to what was going on. If you thought this would be a benefit to Nissan, you are very wrong. Because of you poor handling I have a very negative image of Nissan which I did not have before this fiasco.
