During the promotion period (as mentioned below), visit greatamericancountry.com/photohunt and “Enter Now” to begin the submission process. By clicking “Enter Now,” you will be redirected to PopPhoto.com.
Once on PopPhoto.com, click “Submit Photo” and follow the two (2) steps below.
- Fill in the registration form by providing your information, select up to three (3) photos representing classic Americana and click “Upload Now”.
- Enter the photo details including technical info as well as its location and click “Submit Photos”.
Judging criteria:
- (a) 20% based on skill;
- (b) 20% based on adherence to the theme;
- (c) 20% based on composition;
- (d) 20% based on color;
- (e) 20% based on nostalgia.
Promotion Period
You may submit your photo(s) starting at 12:00 p.m. ET on October 15, 2014 until 5:00 p.m. ET on December 5, 2014.
Submission Limit
Up to three (3) photos/entries per eligible person will be accepted during the Promotion Period.
Eligible Persons
This Promotion is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are 21 years of age or older at time of entry
Grand Prize
Each Grand Prize Winner will receive :
- (i) a one-year photography contract with Great American Country for $5,000;
- (ii) a photography profile in Popular Photography Magazine;
- (iii) a five-year subscription to Popular Photography Magazine;
- (iv) a Great American Country prize pack.
Approximate retail value of each Grand Prize: $5,250.
Runner-Up Prize
Each Runner-Up Prize Winner will receive:
- (i) $500 cash;
- (ii) a one-year subscription to Popular Photography Magazine;
- (iii) Great American Country apparel;
- (iv) a photograph feature on GreatAmericanCountry.com.
Approximate retail value of each Runner-Up Prize: $520.
