Johnnie Walker Whisky Weekend Sweepstakes

Eligibility :
The Johnnie Walker Whisky Weekend Sweepstakes is open only to residents of the United States who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry except California, and wherever else prohibited or restricted by law. Tennessee residents are prohibited by law from entering online but may mail in entry. Entrants must be a member of The Friends of the Classic Malts or The Striding Man Society and must hold a valid passport.

Promotion Period :
The Johnnie Walker Whisky Weekend Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. (EST) on April 28, 2009 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. (EST) on July 15, 2009.

How To Enter :
Access the Classic Malts Selection® Website at www.malts.com or the Johnnie Walker website at www.johnniewalker.com and follow the on-screen instructions.

Limit :
One entry per person by either Internet or mail.

Prize (s):

One (1) grand prize will be awarded. Winner will receive a trip for winner and 5 friends to Scotland for 5 days/4 nights to be taken over a weekend of their choice, except for Christmas, New Year and UK Public Holidays. The trip includes round-trip coach airfare from major US airport nearest winner’s residence and hotel accommodations for 6 people, based on double occupancy, for 4 nights, 5 days. Two of the nights will be at a hotel in Edinburgh with the opportunity to see the sites of the capital city, visit distilleries and enjoy other leisure activities. The remaining two nights will be at Drummuir Castle with a nosing tutorial with a Whisky expert and access to a range of outdoor activities to choose from such as clay pigeon shooting, off-road driving and golf. All meals are included at Drummuir Castle and a daily allowance will be provided for meals in Edinburgh. The prize includes transfers to and from the airport in Scotland. In addition, the winner will receive a cash prize of $15,000. Weekend to be chosen is subject to availability and is at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Approximate retail value of prize is $40,000.
