Eligibility :
The Dance Like a Star Sweepstakes is open only to permanent, legal U.S. residents living within the DMA of one of the following American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. (“ABC”) Television Stations: WCVB-TV/Boston, WLS-TV/Chicago, KMGH-TV/Denver, WJRT-TV/Flint, KFSN-TV/Fresno, WXLV-TV/Greensboro, KTRK-TV/Houston, KABC-TV/Los Angeles, KSTP-TV/Minneapolis, WPVI-TV/Philadelphia, WKXV-TV/Phoenix, WTAE-TV/Pittsburgh, WTVD-TV/Raleigh-Durham, KGO-TV/San Francisco, KDNL-TV/St. Louis, WTVG-TV/Toledo, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and the age of majority in their state of residence as of 3/9/09.

Timing :
The Dance Like a Star Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins on 3/9/09 at 12:00:01 A.M. P.T. and ends on 4/6/09 at 11:59:59 P.M. P.T. (“Sweepstakes Period”).

Limit one (1) entry per person or e-mail address, per day (regardless of whether one person has more than one e-mail address or more than one person use the same e-mail address).
You may only enter the First Prize drawing of your local participating ABC station.

Prize (s):

Grand Prize (1 winner total): 5-day/4-night trip for the winner and one guest to Los Angeles, California to attend a live taping of the Dancing with the Stars finale episode plus a one (1) private dance lesson for winner with one of the professional dancers who has been featured on the Show (of Sponsor’s sole choosing and subject to professional dancer’s availability and professional commitments). Trip consists of round-trip coach air transportation for two (2) to Los Angeles, CA from an airport near winner’s home (of Sponsor’s sole choosing); 4-night’s hotel accommodations (one standard room, double occupancy) in a hotel of Sponsor’s sole choice; round-trip ground transportation between Los Angeles airport and hotel; round-trip ground transportation to and from hotel to the live taping of Dancing with the Stars; and (2) tickets to the live taping of the Dancing with the Stars finale episode.Sponsor reserves the right, without further notice or liability of any kind, to substitute another professional dancer (whether or not from the Show) if the announced dancer is unavailable for any reason. ARV of prize: $5,000.

First Prizes (16 winners total; 1 winner per each of the DMAs of the following ABC-TV stations: WCVB-TV/Boston, WLS-TV/Chicago, KMGH-TV/Denver, WJRT-TV/Flint, KFSN-TV/Fresno, WXLV-TV/Greensboro, KTRK-TV/Houston, KABC-TV/Los Angeles, KSTP-TV/Minneapolis, WPVI-TV/Philadelphia, WKXV-TV/Phoenix, WTAE-TV/Pittsburgh; WTVD-TV/Raleigh-Durham, KGO-TV/San Francisco, KDNL-TV/St. Louis, WTVG-TV/Toledo): a catered party for twenty-five (25) guests at winner’s home to watch the Dancing with the Stars finale, a 42” flat panel HDTV, and a four weeks of dance lessons at a local dance studio. ARV of each First Prize: $2,500.

  2. Why does the commercial for this Ballroom Dance Sweepstakes use a Hip-Hop song? I enjoy and love Ballroom Dance but this commercial makes me want to run the other way! Try a nice Ballroom Song!

  3. The Albertson,s stores in the Phoenix area NEVER had the displays or the code words out, at least none of them that I went to, and even their district manager’s office had to hunt around to find out what I was talking about.
    Effectively,I did not even have a chance to participate in this contest.
