Eligibility :
The Family Dollar Family Moments Essay Contest shall be open to legal residents of the United States, who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry.
Timing :
From March 1, 2009, through April 8, 2009
How to enter:
During the period, an entrant may enter the Family Dollar Family Moments Essay Contest by submitting a non-fiction essay through the Family Dollar website (www.familydollar.com), not to be less than 250 words in length, describing the impact that Family Dollar has had on the life of the entrant.
Limit:
Only one entry per family or household per day will be accepted
Prize (s):
50 winners will each receive a $50 gift certificate redeemable at any Family Dollar store.
Total ARV of all prizes:
$2,500
Recently I went by family dollar to get motor oil for my car. This was the only thing I planned to buy, but walking down the aisle to get the oil I SAW HOUSEHOLD ITEMS and other items for my garden much more reasonable than I had been payiny at other stores. This was my lucky day. Now I am a weekly shopper.

I love shopping @ our local Family Dollar Store in Dunbar, West Virginia because I SAVE so much money on so many different products. I boy all my washing powder, fabric softner, dishwashing detergent, shampoo, conditioner, soap, papertowels, peanuts, cake mixes and many other products. With the economy in such a mess in this country and prices going higher and higher on everything especially groceries, I need to buy my products at the cheapest location I can find. The Dunbar-Family Dollar Store saves me anywhere from $20.00 to $25.00 per month which is a great savings to my household. I always enjoy shopping at our Family Dollar because of their low prices and use the money I save for gasoline for my car!
