Eligibility :
To enter the Promotion you (“Entrant”) must be a lawful permanent resident of the United States age 13 or older.
Timing :
The Carvel Arctic Summer Sweepstakes (“Scratch and Win Game”) and the Bonus Instant Win Game (“Bonus Instant Win Game”) (collectively, the “Promotion”) each start on or about 05/01/2008 and end on July 31, 2008 (the “Promotion Period”).
How to Enter :
Scratch & Win Game: Go to www.carvel.com on or about 12:01 am EDT on May 1, 2008, and before July 31, 2008 at 11:59 pm EDT, and follow the on-screen instructions to access the “Carvel Scratch and Win Game,” and complete the registration process. Limit of one (1) Scratch & Win Game entry per person and per email address per day. Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents will void all entries by that Entrant.
Follow the on-screen instructions to reveal a choice of two potential prizes and select the single prize for which you wish to play. Each Entrant is then given a chance to select four (4) squares on a virtual game piece. Players who successfully reveal three (3) matching Carvel Blender symbols are eligible to win their chosen prize as more fully described below.
Bonus Instant Win Game: There are two ways to enter the Bonus Instant Win Game:
(A) TEXT MESSAGE ENTRY: Submit a Short Message Service (“SMS”) via text message with the keyword “FUDGIE” to “78247” from your cellular phone during the Promotion Period. Text message entries must be received by July 31, 2008 at 11:59:59 AM (EDT). Carrier specific charges for text messages may apply, depending on your individual cellular pricing plan, in accordance with your cellular customer agreement. SMS may not be available for all service providers or for all handsets. Cellular phone carrier’s instructions for text messaging may be different. Check your phone capabilities for specific instructions. The text message entry portion of this Promotion works with most U.S. cellular carriers and requires a two-way text messaging enabled cellular phone. Check with your service provider for details. By texting the keyword, Entrant grants permission to Sponsor to notify Entrant if he/she is a potential winner of one (1) of the Bonus Instant Win Game prizes listed below via a return text message and must agree to accept all applicable charges associated therewith. If you receive a text message from Sponsor or its designee indicating that you are a winner, follow the instructions provided in the text message to claim your prize. You are responsible for all applicable fees and taxes associated with placing an SMS Entry and receiving any text messages from Sponsor or its designated agent. All text messages sent to Entrant shall contain detailed instructions indicating how the recipient of such text message can opt-out of future text messages from Sponsor. Sponsor in its sole discretion may add or delete a cellular carrier at any time, without notice.
(B) ONLINE: Go to www.carvel.com on or about 12:01 am EDT on May 1, 2008, and before July 31, 2008 at 11:59 pm EDT to access the “Carvel Bonus Instant Win Game” and follow on-screen instructions. You will be notified on screen if you are a potential winner and will be eligible to receive one (1) of the Bonus Instant Win Game prizes listed below.
