Ghirardelli – Chocolate Pleasures 2008 SweetStakes

Eligibility :
The Ghirardelli “Chocolate Pleasures 2008” SweetStakes (“Game”) is open to legal U.S. residents, who are 18 years of age or older as of July 15, 2008. Employees of Ghirardelli Chocolate Company (“Sponsor”), Don Jagoda Associates, Inc., their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and the directors, officers, employees, agencies, any of their respective partners, prize suppliers (collectively, the “Sponsor Affiliates”) or any of the members of their immediate family (defined as spouse, mother, father, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, children and grandchildren) or same household of each are not eligible to win.

Timing :
Beginning July 15, 2008 through January 31, 2009.

How to enter:
Beginning July 15, 2008 through January 31, 2009, or while supplies last, whichever occurs first, Official Ghirardelli “Chocolate Pleasures 2008” SweetStakes Game Pieces (“game pieces”) will be included inside specially marked bags of Ghirardelli Squares® chocolate. If your game piece reveals an instant win message, you win the prize specified (subject to verification). If your game piece does not contain a winning message, see Rule #8 to enter Second Chance Drawing.

Entry is limited to one entry per household.

Prize (s):
One (1) Grand Prize: A seven (7) day/six (6) night trip for two (2) to San Francisco, CA, the original home of Ghirardelli Chocolate Company. Trip may be taken during the Ghirardelli Square Chocolate Festival in 2009, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation from the major airport closest to the winner’s home to San Francisco, CA, based upon scheduled air transportation, meet and assist services upon arrival in San Francisco by limousine driver, with round trip limousine service from/to San Francisco International Airport and “The Fairmont”, seven (7) days, six (6) nights deluxe accommodations at “The Fairmont” {based upon deluxe Tower King (or “Queen Queen”)} accommodations, a “Welcome to San Francisco” Basket of select Ghirardelli products, three (3) tour experiences, a half day Spa Experience at Elizabeth Arden for winner and guest, two (2) VIP orchestra passes to a current Sponsor-selected San Francisco show, nightly dinner at some of the most noteworthy restaurants in San Francisco (awarded in the form of a $1,400 check), A $1,000 check for the winner to assist in defraying taxes on the Grand Prize and a seven (7) day Muni Cable Car Pass for winner and guest. (ARV up to $13,500).

Ten (10) First Prizes – A $250 “Spa Experience”. Awarded in the form of a $250 gift certificate from SpaFinder. Total approximate First Prize Value is $2,500.

One Thousand (1,000) Second Prizes – A Bag of select Ghirardelli Squares® chocolate. (ARV $3.50 each). Total approximate Second Prize Value is $3,500.
