Eligibility :
The Canon New Baby Photo Contest (the “Contest”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry, have photo-capturing and uploading capabilities as of November 1, 2007 and are not a professional photographer, i.e., a person who has earned 51% or more of his/her annual income by taking, selling, or marketing photos, whether as an employee or as a freelance photographer, during the last three (3) years. Employees of Canon U.S.A., Inc., ePrize, LLC, and any of their parent and affiliate companies as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible.
Timing :
The Contest begins on December 1, 2007 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (”ET”) and ends on August 1, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”).
How to Enter :
During the Submission Phase, visit www.canonestore.com/babyphoto (the “Website”) and follow the links and instructions to upload one (1) photo of your baby (the “Photo”).
Limit :
Maximum of six (6) entries per person/per valid email address.
Prize(s) :
ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: $10,000 in the form of a check that winner can apply towards the education of the Baby.
THREE (3) FIRST PRIZES: A Canon EOS® 40D Digital SLR Camera and a Canon SELPHY® ES2 Compact Photo Printer. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $1,700.
THREE (3) SECOND PRIZES: A Canon PowerShot® Digital ELPH Camera and a $200 Gift Certificate to Babies R’ Us. ARV: $550.
TEN (10) THIRD PRIZES: A Canon PIXMA® MP970 Photo All-In-One and $100 Gift Certificate to Babies R’ Us. ARV: $400.
Total ARV of all prizes :
$20,750.00

Lol! I thought it was an either or thing, either $10,000 for the baby or a camera. Lol! That’s a tough choice for an amateur photographer.
