I was looking for coupons or discounts online for Legoland to try to afford a vacation for my 2 sons ages 5 & 8 and found a link for this sweepstakes. I had promised my sons last year we would go over the summer 2009, however my husband is a CA Stateworker and the unexpected unpaid “Furloughs Friday’s” had us rebudgeting our vacation plans and we’ve had to put off Legoland. Greatful my husband still has a job yet the unknown as California State Budget crises makes me uneasy to spend money in this nature. My eyes lit up, and I began to wonder wow wouldn’t that be awesome to win that vacation. Legoland is so expensive for a 1 day ticket for a family of four. Let alone 2-day hopper tickets. But my boys LOVE LEGOS…and because they are sooo into Lego’s I truly want them to visit this place before they “grow out of it”! I never enter sweepstakes, ever!! But because of my current situation this was very appealing for me. I wish there were more “family” sweepstakes like this out there to enter into. Granted It’s a HUGE longshot I would ever be selected, and I must admit It gave me hope. I thought to myself what’s the worse that could happen… besides spam email.
