  1. My daughter has never seen me smile other than pictures of me 15 years ago. I want to take my hand away from my mouth and let the world see my beautiful smile, please help me.

  2. I was in a car accident about 6yrs ago, which left all my front teeth loose. sinse the accident was my faught my car insurance would only pay up to 2,000 worth of dental work.I thought if i would get all the loose teeth pulled it would be better than waiting til they fell out one by one. I then got an upper and bottom partial, if only you could see this partial you will say WHAT you have gotta be kidding me, my kids, nieces and nephews are always laughing at by teeth i laugh with them to keep from crying. On my last birthday my daughter said mom i got you the perfect gift she gave me a set of fake rubber teeth out of the bubblegum machine, I know she meant well but it hurted me so i just cryed . I am on a fixed income and dont have dental insurance and cant afford a new partial. My fiance have never seen my smile without my hand over my mouth he dont know that I have fake teeth, and whenever he wants to kiss me its just a smurk. I plan to get married in the early fall, and I want to smile without covering my mouth Dr. can you please answer my prayers?

  3. Ithink that having a nice smile brings a person more confidence in life,it is tough to go around mumbling because you are afraid to open your mouth, you can’t be as sociable as you want to,but the most important thing most people smiling and laughing helps you live longer and helps you releof the stress, which i share just like the others.

  4. The only guestion I have is this… Do you people really think that this company cares about the people who REALLY need help? This contest is a JOKE!!! Come on really? One entry per person up against who knows how many millions of people! I checked out this site and looked at their past winners. They don’t even look like they needed any help!!! They all looked as though the could actually afford the work just didn’t want to pay for it!!! The entries of little people like you and me who really, really need help are probably never even considered! I have lived with TMJ for most of my young adult life and they wouldn’t even consider me! I mean this disorder causes my teeth to literally rot and fall out! We should all get together and complain to this Dear Doctor company!! REALLY!!! Anyone else in agreement????

  5. I am a single mother of two unbelievable children. I have always put them first and there never seems to be any finances left to take care of me. I have over looked my dental care for years, only doing what was direly necessary. I recently broke a veneer located in the front of my mouth. I find being 40 and transitioning to a new stage in my life is hard to do and having the dental issues makes me very self conscience. I try not to smile so that the broken tooth does not show. It makes me feel older than I really am. Please help me.

  6. Hello ,I am a 46 year old male, my teeth are really in bad shape,I have more gum showing than teeth,my entire family has bad teeth, i have partials i wear, but when i eat, laugh, etc, they seem to find a way to come out, which is very uncomfortable being around other,I never smile anymore due to who wants to see a man with no teeth. I would love to be able to laugh an smile again.

  7. I am in a really bad sittuation, I feel the only way to get this fixed is to contact you for help. I am 34 years old and have very little teeth left (just the front teeth), the teeth that are left are broken-decaying-temporary. My anxiety is so bad just thinking of the dentist. as a child my mother never took me to the dentist, and now my husband is un-employed with no health insurance for us. while visiting my parents out of state this week, my front tooth broke and feel out, they made an emergancy dentist apt for me that night, I had to take my anxiety pills just to go, they only were able to put a “flipper” in place just till I can get money to fix it, but that will be a while. I am a very personable person, and love to talk and smile, but over the years I have become isolated in my own world, due to bad teeth and afraid that others will see them if I smile or talk. I am starting my familes business as a sales rep here in the midwest, but I know I will not be the same person that will “whoo” others with my customer skills due to being afraid to smile and talk. I am scared, I am in pain everyday and have to eat only soft food. My sex life with my husband has gone way down due to feeling less of a person from my bad teeth. I am asking for some help from you, Please! I would do anything for new teeth. Thank You. Sarah Phipps

  8. Over the past 7 years, I have systematicly lost most of my teeth due to variouse gum disorders, lack of visits to the dentist (mainly fear & finances). Then last year my husband (13 years my junior) came into some money and offered to pay for me to have the work done abroad, as it is more than half the cost than in the UK. I found a dentist in Turkey and excitedly called my husband with the info. He then informed me he was retracting the offer as it was not his fault that my teeth were falling out. And also informed me he was going back to Newcastle (we lived in Bracknell). I am at a loss as what to do..I have lost my top back teeth and now my bottom front teeth, my husband and my self worth. I never go out and what makes matters even worse is that although I work from home, my job is conducted via the phone, and now I now sound very strange, a bit like I am whistling. Please help, you have no idea the difference this would make to my life. Thank you, Helen

  9. I just recently turned 51 years old, and I am feeling so badly abot how my teeth look and feel. I wasn’t born with a beautiful healthy smile. I was born into a family of little means, plus we live in the country with no floride in our water. When I was a small child I got sick with a very high fever that also weaken the teeth even more. Although I tried desperately tryed to maintain my teeth, by the time I was in my twenties I already started to loose teeth. Though the years I put tens of thousands of dollars into my month over the years, but it never gave me a beautiful smile, it only maintained the few lopsided crooked teeth I had left. I would just like do know what its like to smile with confidence.

  10. Hello, I’m writing on behalf of my husband. He just got home from the dentist here in NY for a consult on the new HYBRIDGE system, and other options of what should be done with his broken down teeth. For around 30-40 thousand dollars they can help my husband feel confident about smiling again! The dentist will try and convince you that there is no price tag on the way you feel when you smile with new teeth, but I think this is ridiculous!! Please don’t tell me that people can easily drop forty grand on dental procedures in this economy! My husband is only 31 years young, and I can’t remember the last time that he’s smiled showing his teeth in any photos, he tries to avoid photos altogether, if he can, because he doesn’t want the person taking the photo to say, show me your pearly whites, or show me your teeth, he is too embarrased. He is a hard working loving husband and father of 2, that deserves to have a mouthful of teeth that he can smile with, and not worry about what people think about him. We both have dental insurance, but our insurance does not cover anything this expensive!! There has got to be a easier way to get a man who risks his life everyday the happy mouthful of teeth that he deserves to smile again…. Please Help!! Sincerely, a wife who wants to see her husband smile again, and really be happy about it!
