Eligibility : Herhsey’s Walgreens Sweeter Summer Giveaway Sweepstakes open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of June 28, 2009
Promotion Period : Herhsey’s Walgreens Sweeter Summer Giveaway Sweepstakes begins 12:01 AM (ET) June 28, 2009 and ends at 11:59 PM (ET) on July 25, 2009.
How To Enter :
TO PLAY WITHOUT MAKING A PURCHASE:
Hand print your name, complete address with ZIP code, and daytime telephone number with area code on a 3” x 5” piece of paper and mail in a stamped envelope to: HERSHEY’S Walgreens Sweeter Summer Giveaway Play Request, P.O. Box 1199, Young America, MN 55594-1199. Enter as often as you like, but each mail-in entry must be mailed separately and must be postmarked by August 3, 2009 and received by August 10, 2009. Incomplete, illegible, damaged, incorrectly addressed, late, lost, misdirected and postage due entries will not be accepted, acknowledged or returned. All entries become the property of Sponsors. Only mail-in players who win will be notified by mail.
HOW TO PLAY:
There are two different ways to play and be eligible to win in the HERSHEY’S Walgreens Sweeter Summer Giveaway.
INSTANT WIN SWEEPSTAKES: obtain an individual official instant win sweepstakes entry as described below. No Purchase Necessary Option available, see above for details.
- You are automatically entered for a chance to win when you purchase one (1) participating KIT KAT® Bar, PAYDAY® Bar or SKOR® Toffee Bar (1.4-1.85 oz.).
- Plays will be randomly allocated per site of entry. Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received per site of entry.
Winners from among all eligible electronic entries will be notified immediately in store by receipt of a Checkout Prizes® winning notice indicating that they have won a Prize (as such prizes are defined below), subject to verification (as applicable). Non-winners will receive a $.25 coupon towards their next purchase of HERSHEY®’S packaged candy.

- Each play represents one chance to win, the results of which will be delivered to you upon checkout, in the form of a Checkout Prizes® notice.
- Multiple purchases of specific HERSHEY®’S candy bar products in one transaction will result in multiple plays.

Grand Prize: (26 (twenty-six) available) $500 Walgreens Gift Card valued at $500. Odds of winning 1:115,385. Total prize value = $13,000.
First Prize: (2,700 (two thousand seven hundred) available) $50 Walgreens Gift Card valued at $50. Odds of winning 1: 1,111. Total prize value = $135,000.
Second Prize: (10,000 (ten thousand) available) $25 Walgreens Gift Card valued at $25. Odds of winning 1: 300. Total value = 250,000.

We won a $25.00 Walgreens gift card. I’ve tried to claim our prize but it keeps coming up a blank page. If you could help us we would appreciate it. Information on web page wasn’t real helpful or user friendly.

The steps to claim a prize are always written in the rules.
TO VERIFY AND CLAIM YOUR PRIZES:
If you have received the Checkout Prizes® winning notice for the Grand Prize, First Prize or Second Prize (subject to verification):
1. Go online to http://www.hersheys.com/walgreens.
2. Enter unique prize code that is printed on the instant win notice.
3. Enter name, address and contact information.
4. Grand Prize Winners may be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and, where permitted, publicity release.
5. Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of prize following completion of notification process. Prize will only be delivered to addresses within the United States.
