The WD-40 – Smart Straw Sweepstakes Rules
Eligibility :
The WD-40® Smart Straw® Sweepstakes (“Promotion” or “Sweepstakes”) is open and offered only to individuals who are legal residents of the 50 United States or District of Columbia, have a valid driver’s license, and are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence (whichever is older) at the time of participation. Employees, officers and directors of the WD-40® Company (“Sponsor” or “WD-40“), SoftCoin, Inc., (“SoftCoin”), their respective parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotion agencies, web masters and web suppliers and persons engaged in the development of Promotion materials, and members of the immediate family (parents, siblings, children and spouse, wherever they reside) or household members (whether or not related) of such any employees, officers and directors are not eligible. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and all decisions of Sponsor and/or SoftCoin, an independent judging and administration organization, which are final and binding in all respects. Void where prohibited.
Timing :
Promotion begins 7/15/08 at 12:00:01a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends 10/15/08 at 11:59:59 p.m. (PT) (“Promotion Period”).
How to enter:
To participate you must first obtain a Code. Codes can be obtained as follows:
- The UPC Code from a can of WD-40® lubricant products,
- Codes which may be printed on tear pads located on in-store promotional displays at participating stores, while supplies last,
- Codes or links within the WD-40® Fan Club emailed newsletter or other WD-40® email communication,
- Codes which may be printed from time to time in advertising materials as determined by Sponsor,
- Code or link from time to time within an online banner ad as determined by Sponsor,
- or Code(s) which may be distributed at a promotional vehicle(s) at times and places determined by Sponsor.
The type and source of Code you use will have no affect on your ability to participate or win.
Obtain a Code. To obtain a Code that will permit you to participate in both the Instant Win Game and the Sweepstakes portions of the Promotion, see above for a list of how to obtain a Code, while supplies last: or obtain one Code by mailing a hand-printed self-addressed, first-class stamped envelope to: WD-40® Smart Straw® Sweepstakes –Codes c/o SoftCoin, 2000 Sierra Point Parkway, Ste 801, Brisbane, CA 94005. Residents of VT may omit return postage. Limit one request per stamped outer mailing envelope.
