Sharpie - Back to School Sweepstakes

Eligibility :
Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States/D.C. and Puerto Rico who are 18 years of age or older as of 7/5/08. Employees of Sponsor, OMX, Inc. (OfficeMax) and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies involved with this Sweepstakes, and each of their immediate family members (defined as spouses, parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses, whether biological, step, adoptive or in-law) and those living in the same household of such employees are not eligible to enter or win.

Timing :
The Sharpie “Back to School” Sweepstakes (”Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00:01 am Central Daylight Time (“CDT”) on July 5, 2008 and ends 11:59:59 pm CDT on September 30, 2008 (the “Promotion Period”).

How to enter:
There are two ways to enter the Sweepstakes. (1) Between July 5, 2008 and close of business September 30, 2008, pick up and complete an Official Entry Format any participating OfficeMax locations, while supplies last, or handwrite a 3”x 5”card with your first and last name, complete address including zip code (no P.O. Boxes), phone number and age and mail in a #10 envelope to: Sharpie “Back to School” Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 1083, Lombard, IL 60148-8083.

Limit :
Limit one mail-in entry per person per day (based on postmark date) and only one entry allowed per outer envelope.

Prize (s):
Ninety (90) Grand Prizes consisting of a $100 gift card. Winners to chose one (1) from the following three Gift Cards: 1) The Gap, 2) Banana Republic, or 3) Old Navy. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $100 each.

Total ARV of all prizes:
$9,000.

Sharpie and Staples - You Could Win a Ride in the Pace Car at the Sharpie 500 Sweepstakes

Eligibility :
Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and D.C. who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Void in Alaska, Hawaii, outside the contiguous U.S./D.C. and wherever prohibited. Employees of Staples, Inc. (”Staples), Sanford, L.P., Speedway Motorsports, Inc., and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, sweepstakes judges, and members of the immediate families (defined as spouses, parents, children and siblings; whether such family members are biological, adoptive, step or in-law) of such employees and those living in the same household of such employees are not eligible to enter or win.

Timing :
The Promotion begins on June 11, 2008 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (”ET”), ends on September 12, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Promotion Period”).

How to Enter :
To enter the Sweepstakes, please visit www.staples.sharpie500.com and follow the on-screen instructions to complete and submit a Sweepstakes entry form. All entries must be received by 11:59:59 P.M. CDT on July 15, 2008.

Limit one entry per person per day and limit one entry per email address per day.
Prize (s):
One (1) GRAND PRIZE: A 4 day/3 night trip for two to the SHARPIE 500 on August 23, 2008 at the Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. Prize includes two tickets to the SHARPIE 500 and Food City 250 races; round trip coach airfare for two (winner and one guest) from a major airport near winner’s home (if winner lives within 150 miles of Bristol, Tennessee, round-trip limo service will be awarded in lieu of airfare. No cash balances will be awarded); ground transportation while in Bristol; three nights hotel accommodations (double occupancy); a chance to ride in the official pace car of the Sharpie 500, a Sharpie Prize Package (as described below); and $1,000 spending money for the winner. The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the Grand Prize is: $5,000.

Twenty-Five (25) FIRST PRIZES: Sharpie Prize Package including Sharpie t-shirt, hat and a Sharpie product of sponsor’s choice. (ARV: $30.00 each).

One Hundred (100) SECOND PRIZES: A Sharpie product of Sponsor’s choice (ARV: $5.00 each).
