THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE CONTIGUOUS CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES AND RESIDENTS OF THE CANADIAN PROVINCE OF ONTARIO, TWENTY-ONE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AS OF ENTRY DATE. The “CARL’S GOLFLAND 50th ANNIVERSARY” SWEEPSTAKES (“Sweepstakes”) starts at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) on 7/21/08 and ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on 8/10/08 for online entry (“Online Entry Period”), ends in-store at participating retail locations on 8/10/08 and ends on 8/10/08 for the postmarking of all mail-in entries as detailed below.

How to enter:
Beginning on 7/21/08 and ending at the end of business on 8/10/08 and while supplies last, official entry forms will be available at participating Carl’s Golfland retail locations. On this Official Entry Form or on a plain piece of paper 3” x 5” or on a postcard, handprint your name, street address, city, state, zip code, daytime telephone number, age, and (optionally) your e-mail address. Deposit your completed entry in the in-store “CARL’S GOLFLAND 50th ANNIVERSARY” SWEEPSTAKES display at the participating Carl’s Golfland retail location (“In-Store Entry”) mail your completed entry to: “CARL’S GOLFLAND 50th ANNIVERSARY” SWEEPSTAKES, P.O. Box 6041, Sherman Oaks, CA 91413 (“Mail-in Entry”).

During the Online Entry Period, you may enter online by logging on to the website at www.carlsgolfland.com (“Entry Site”) and following the directions for Sweepstakes entry; providing your name, street address, city, state, zip code, daytime telephone number, age, and (optionally) your e-mail address and clicking the Submit button (“Online Entry”). Eligibility :
The Nissan 2008 “Master the Shift” Sweepstakes (”Sweepstakes”) is offered in and open only to legal residents of the United States and District of Columbia (”U.S.”) age 18 and older who have a valid driver’s license. Employees, officers, and directors of Rodale Inc.(”Sponsor”), Nissan North America, Inc., Alcone Marketing Group, Nissan dealers, and each of their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, entities involved in the design and implementation of the sweepstakes, and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings and children and their spouses and in-laws) and persons living in the same household of such individuals are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

Timing :
Sweepstakes begins on May 28, 2008 at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and ends on December 31, 2008 at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET). A week begins on Monday at 12:00:01 a.m. (ET) and ends the following Sunday at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET), except for the first week which begins on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 12:00:01 a.m. (ET) and ends on the following Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) and the last week which begins on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 12:00:01 a.m. (ET) and ends on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET). In addition, Weeks 17 - 21 will begin on 9/15/08 at 12:00:01 a.m. (ET) and end on 10/19/08 at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) with (4) experience packages being awarded for that period.

How to Enter :
Access http://mastertheshift.com (”web site”) and click on the icon, banner or text link to be taken to the Sweepstakes registration page. On that page provide the required information, specifically your name, complete address, date of birth, and email address and click on the “Submit” button. When your entry is received and recorded by the Sweepstakes computer you will receive one entry into the Sweepstakes for that Weekly Drawing and for the Grand Prize Drawing. Limit of one (1) entry per person, household or email address per Weekly Entry Period. Maximum of 31 entries for the entire Sweepstakes Period. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than one (1) entry per person, household or email address per Weekly Entry Period by using multiple/different email addresses, identities or any other methods will void that participant’s entries and that participant will be disqualified.
