Julia & Julia Instant Win Sweepstakes

Eligibility : The Julia & Julia Instant Win Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States of America, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec), who as of the date of their entry into the Sweepstakes are eighteen (18) years of age or older.

Promotion Period : The  Julia & Julia Instant Win Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) starts at 8:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on 12/8/09 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on 1/31/10 (“Sweepstakes Period”).

How To Enter : You may enter the Sweepstakes online during the Sweepstakes Period by logging on to www.julieandjulia.com/thegame (the “Sweepstakes Site”), and following the instructions found therein.

Limit : ONLY ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON DURING THE SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Prize (s):

Three (3) Grand Prizes will be awarded in the Sweepstakes. Each Grand Prize consists of a trip for the eligible Grand Prize Winner and a guest to Le Cordon Bleu in Ottawa, Canada (“Ottawa”). Each Grand Prize trip includes the following: (i) roundtrip, economy (coach) class airfare for two (2) from a major airport near the Grand Prize Winner’s home to Ottawa; (ii) four (4) consecutive nights hotel accommodations (single standard room, double occupancy; room and room tax only) at a hotel (“Hotel”) selected by Sponsor; (iii) three (3) days of private courses for two (2) at Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa with a personal chef, a gift basket (including a copy of Julia Child’s book “Mastering the Art of French Cooking”, a copy of the “Le Cordon Bleu at Home” cookbook, a Le Cordon Bleu t-shirt and two (2) Le Cordon Bleu aprons), and complimentary lunch with the chef each of the 3 days. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Grand Prize is $8,700.00 U.S.

Twenty-five (25) First Prizes will be awarded in the Sweepstakes. Each First Prize consists of a Le Creuset Limited Edition Ultimate Cookware Set (in Flame), including a 2 1/4 qt. Saucier pan; 6 3/4 qt. Oval French Oven; 5.5 qt. Round French Oven; 10″ Iron Handle Skillet; Whistling Tea Kettle; Set of 4 Mini Cocottes w/cook book; Stainless Steel Chef’s Pan; Pumpkin Spatula. ARV of each First Prize: $1,097.00 U.S.

One (1) Second Prize will be awarded in the Sweepstakes. The Second Prize is a $500 gift card redeemable at SurLaTable.com. The gift card may be used for purchases from the Sur La Table retail stores, cooking classes, catalog or website at surlatable.com. The gift card is not redeemable for cash unless required by law. If lost, stolen or destroyed it can be replaced for the remaining value with the original purchase receipt (which will be furnished to the winner). The gift card does not expire, nor does Sur La Table charge fees for any reason. ARV of Second Prize: $500.00 U.S.
