Eligibility :
The Southern Living Choose Your Home Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) U.S. and the District of Columbia who are 21 years of age or older as of March 23, 2009

Timing :
Southern Living Choose Your Home Giveaway begins at March 23, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. Central Daylight Savings Time (”CDST”) and ends at 5:00 p.m. CDST on June 30, 2009 (the “Sweepstakes Period”)

How to enter:
You may enter the Southern Living Choose Your Home Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”) by visiting southernliving.com (www.southernliving.com) or myhomeideas.com (www.myhomeideas.com) (each a “Website” or collectively the “Websites”) and completing the online entry form.

Limit:
You may enter once per day on each Website (limit one (1) online entry per eligible person, per Website, per day)

Prize (s):

Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will win the Getaway house selected on his/her entry form. The potential prize homes are: Sugarberry Cottage at Habersham, Beaufort SC (Developer’s Estimated Market Price $499,000), Whisper Creek at Whisper Mountain, Asheville NC (Developer’s Estimated Market Price $500,000), The Cottonwood Casita at Traditions Club, Bryan/College Station TX (Developer’s Estimated Market Price $525,000), Carolina Jessamine Cottage at Callaway Gardens, Pine Mountains GA (Developer’s Estimated Market Price $425,000). The homes will be awarded unfurnished. The stated value of each potential prize house includes the structure, lot and landscaping and is based upon the current market price set by the developer of each respective housing community as of March 23, 2009. The stated value of the Grand Prize House at the time of award may be affected by market fluctuations. The difference between the Developer’s Estimated Market Price stated herein and the appraised or Fair Market Value (”FMV”) of the house at the time of conveyance to Winner will not be awarded. Main Sponsors are not responsible for any changes to or fluctuations in the stated value of any of the Getaway Giveaway Houses. None of the furnishings or décor shown in any photographs or video of the houses will be awarded. The Giveaway House shall be conveyed to the Grand Prize Winner without representations or warranties, express or implied, other than those, if any, provided by the builder and developer of the house in the ordinary course of business, and any applicable manufacturers’ warranties. Real estate transfer taxes, deed recording charges, the survey, appraisal and all closing costs, shall be the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner, as will all current and future real estate taxes and all other taxes, costs, fees, and expenses related to the conveyance and maintenance of the house commencing as of the date the Grand Prize Winner accepts the Grand Prize. Title insurance and homeowner’s hazard and liability insurance shall be the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. In the event that Main Sponsor is unable to award the Grand Prize after undertaking reasonable efforts to do so, the Grand Prize will not be awarded. All decisions related to the award of the Grand Prize shall be at Main Sponsors’ sole discretion. The maximum potential Grand Prize in this Sweepstakes is $525,000.00

You will receive one (1) additional online entry by referring at least one other person to this Sweepstakes by entering that person’s valid e-mail address where indicated on the Website during your Sweepstakes registration. You will not receive an additional entry if the email address you enter has already been entered into the Sweepstakes at the time of your submission. The appraised Fair Market Value (”FMV”) of the house is approximately $941,000.00 (includes structure, lot, and landscaping) as of July 1, 2008. All decisions related to the award of the Grand Prize shall be at Main Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Fair Market Value (FMV) of Idea House at the time of award may be affected by market fluctuations. The difference between the FMV stated herein and the FMV of the house at the time of conveyance to Winner will not be awarded. Other merchandise included with the Idea House consist of: (i) furnishings, artwork and decor selected by SPC Digital (Estimated Retail Value “ERV”: $54,000.00); and (ii) design services to the winner (ERV $5,000).
