Sony - Learn to be a Big Shot Contest

Eligibility :
Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia (excluding residents of Colorado, Maryland and Vermont), who are 18 or older and who are owners of or who have access to a Sony (Alpha), Cyber-shot^® camera or Handycam^® camcorder. Employees of Sony Electronics Inc. (“Sponsor”), Powerpact, LLC, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and web site providers/web masters, and members of their immediate family (spouse, parent, children, siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household, whether or not related, of such employees, are not eligible to enter or win. Void in Colorado, Maryland and Vermont and where prohibited by law. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Individuals who enter this Contest are not eligible to enter or win the dealer version of this Contest (available at www.sony.com/dealerbigshot).

Timing :
Learn to be a Big Shot Contest (the “Contest”) starts on August 28, 2008 at 12:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on September 28, 2008 at 11:59 PM ET (“Contest Period”).

How to enter:
During the Contest Period, to enter the Contest, produce a photo demonstrating action of the subject matter using an Alpha or Cyber-shot camera OR a video demonstrating action of the subject matter using a Handycam camcorder; then, visit www.sony.com/bigshot and follow the directions provided to register. Registration is free. Once you register, follow the links and directions provided to select the product category with which you shot your photo or video (Alpha, Cyber-shot or Handycam) and complete the entry form (collectively, the “Entry”); then, upload your photo or video, and submit. Photos must be submitted in .jpg format and should not exceed 1.5 MB in size. Video may be submitted in .mpg, .mov or .wmv format and cannot exceed 20 MB in size (compressed or uncompressed). Videos cannot exceed one (1) minute in length.. All Entries must be received by September 28, 2008 at 11:59 PM ET to be considered. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means are void.

Limit:
There is a limit of three (3) Entries per person, per email address and per household, per product category.

Prize (s):
Grand Prize (3) (one (1) per product category): A trip for winner and a guest to attend a NASCAR race to shoot with a photography pro and meet Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (race and dates to be determined by Sponsor). Trip consists of roundtrip, coach class air transportation from a major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner’s residence to designated location or ground transportation (depending on location of race), five (5) days and four (4) nights standard hotel accommodations (one (1) room, double occupancy), five (5) days economy rental car and the opportunity to meet Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and receive photography tips from a pro provided by Sponsor. Winner may also be loaned a Sony camera (exact model to be determined by Sponsor) and memory card which winner agrees to use to document his/her trip (“Trip Footage”). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $10,000 each.

Shutterfly - Capture the Smile Photo Contest and Sweepstakes

Eligibility :
Shutterfly Capture the Smile Photo Contest and Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry and who did not purchase any equipment for purposes of entering the Promotion. Employees of Shutterfly, Inc., Sony Electronics Inc., ePrize, LLC, and any of their respective related companies, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and agents and any agencies or other companies involved in the development or execution of the Program or production or distribution of Program materials, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. The Promotion consists of a sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) and a contest (the “Contest”). You must be or become a Shutterfly member and have a current Shutterfly account to participate in either the Sweepstakes or the Contest.

Timing :
The Promotion begins on June 3, 2008 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (”ET”) and ends on September 3, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Promotion Period”).

How to Enter :
The Contest: During the Submission Phase, visit http://shutterfly.eprize.net/capturethesmile (the “Website”) and follow the links and instructions to upload one (1) photo that expresses the theme “capturing and sharing smiles” (the “Entry”). By completing the registration and submitting your Entry, you agree that your Entry conforms to the Entry Guidelines and Content Restrictions as defined below (collectively, the “Guidelines and Restrictions”) and that Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may remove your photo and disqualify you from the Contest if it believes, in its sole discretion, that your photo fails to conform to the Guidelines and Restrictions.

Entry Guidelines:

• The photo must be in .jpg format;
• The photo must not exceed 5 MB in size;
• The photo must contain a caption and description;
• The photo cannot have been submitted previously in a promotion of any kind or exhibited or displayed publicly through any means.

Content Restrictions:

• The Entry must not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement;
• The Entry must not contain brand names or trademarks;
• The Entry must not contain images or artwork not created by entrant;
• The Entry must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous;
• The Entry must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and
• The Entry must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state where video is created.

The Sweepstakes: During the Promotion Period, visit http://shutterfly.eprize.net/capturethesmile and follow the links and instructions to complete the registration. Complete and submit the registration, including a valid home address. P.O. Boxes are not permitted. You will immediately receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.

Limit :
Each participant may receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes per day during the Promotion Period.

Prize (s):
ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: Sony® ? (alpha) DSLR-A350 camera, two (2) zoom lenses, a soft carrying case, a flash for DSLR camera, and a 20-page Shutterfly 12×12 photo book (does not include leather-bound photo books or licensed character photo books). Approximate Retail Value (”ARV”): $1,552.98. TEN (10) FIRST PRIZES: Sony Cyber-shot® DSC-W170 digital camera, a 9″ digital photo frame, and a 20-page Shutterfly 8×8 photo book (does not include leather-bound photo books or licensed character photo books). ARV: $579.97.
