Eligibility :
The Scholarship Contest is open to legal residents who reside in the United States and who meet one of the following requirements: are a legal resident of the United States; have been granted permanent residency; have a valid visa that does not prohibit educational studies; have been granted temporary protected status along with approved Notice of Action issued by Citizen Immigration Services and verified through CIS Form g-845; or have been granted asylum along with the approved Notice of Action issued by the Citizen Immigration Services. Entrants must be eligible for entry into college at time of entry. Entrants who are not yet at the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which they reside will be required to obtain parental or legal guardian consent to be eligible to be declared a winner. Employees (and their immediate families) of Country Music Television Inc. (”CMT”) an MTV Networks, a division of Viacom International Inc., (collectively referred to herein as “MTVN”), Apollo Group, Inc., University of Phoenix or any other applicable subsidiary of Apollo Group, Inc. (collectively referred to herein as the “Scholarship Sponsors”) and each of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, advertising agencies or any person who has won an CMT Sweepstakes or Contest in the preceding twelve month period are not eligible to participate or win a prize. Entrants who are receiving 100% tuition reimbursement are not eligible to enter into this Scholarship Contest. All entrants are subject to University of Phoenix’s admission policies, procedures, rules and regulations. By participating in this Contest, Entrants agree: (a) to be bound by these Official Rules, the University of Phoenix Terms and Conditions of Scholarship and Distribution of Funds and by the decisions of MTVN, which are final in all matters relating to this Scholarship Contest (b) to release and hold harmless Scholarship Sponsors and their respective agents, employees, officers, directors, successors and assigns, against any and all claims, injury or damage arising out of or relating to participation in this Scholarship Contest and/or the use or misuse or redemption of a prize; and (c) acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules and the University of Phoenix Terms and Conditions of Scholarship and Distribution of Funds.
 

Timing :
The Contest begins at 12:00 p.m. (CDT) on July 14, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (CDT) on August 8, 2008 

How to enter:
To enter, go to www.cmt.com (the “Website”) and follow the entry instructions. Entrants will be required to submit a completed entry form and an original essay within that same entry form (the “Essay Parameters”). The original essay will describe why the applicant believes volunteering is important and how he/she or the person you are nominating shows the qualities of someone committed to community and making his/her world better and describes how the applicant has made an impact on the community and inspires others to do the same. Along with the essay, Entrants must complete and sign the University of Phoenix Terms and Conditions of Scholarship and Distribution of Funds. Entrants should also be prepared to submit additional materials at the request of MTVN and the Scholarship Sponsors for consideration during the judging process, at MTVN’s or Scholarship Sponsors’ sole discretion. If an entrant’s essay does not meet with all aspects of the foregoing Essay Parameters, said essay will be disqualified.

Prize (s):
the Scholarship Recipient will receive one (1) college scholarship (the “Scholarship”) valued at an estimate of $50,000, to be applied toward an established degree program to be pursued by the Scholarship Recipient at University of Phoenix located in the United States (the “College”). If the Scholarship Recipient is in high school, of high school age or currently enrolled in College, the Scholarship must be used towards a four (4) year undergraduate program, with the student most likely starting in a two (2) year associate program, then completing the remaining two years in a bachelor’s program. The Scholarship is subject to the following conditions: (a) the Scholarship has no cash value and is redeemable only at University of Phoenix for costs of tuition and fees. (b) if the Scholarship Recipient is still enrolled in high school, said Scholarship Recipient must enroll in a College as a student no later than the twelve months following Scholarship Recipient’s high school graduation date, if Scholarship Recipient is not enrolled in high school then Scholarship Recipient mush enroll in College within thirty (30) days from the Award Date; (c) once the Scholarship Recipient is registered at the College, the Scholarship Recipient must remain enrolled as a student for such period of time as he/she is receiving the Scholarship and the Scholarship then must be used over a time period not to exceed five (5) years from initial enrollment. The student must maintain full time status with no more than a thirty day break between classes or a total of sixty days break over a calendar year. If the Scholarship Recipient ceases to be a student for more than the aforementioned time Scholarship Sponsors will have no further obligation for the payment of the Scholarship; (d) the award recipient may transfer to another location within the University of Phoenix, subject to Scholarship Sponsors’ prior approval, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.

To enter this Sweepstakes you must be a lawful permanent resident of the United States 13 years of age or older. The Sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico, U.S. territories and possessions and where restricted or prohibited by law. The Sweepstakes, and any website pages relating thereto, is intended for viewing only within the United States. The Sponsor, their respective promotions agencies, any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, officers, directors, partners, principals, partnerships, employees or agents (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”) and their immediate families (defined as spouse, mother, father, sisters, brothers, sons and daughters, regardless of where they reside) and members of their households (whether related or not) are ineligible to participate in this Sweepstakes.

You may enter the Dream College Tour (this “Sweepstakes”) by going to www.TImathrocks.com/dreamcollegetour or by registering for a Princeton Review Getting In Event at www.princetonreview.com/gettingin beginning on our about 12:01 am EDT on June 9, 2008 and before September 30, 2008 at 11:59 pm EDT. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an online entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address from which the entry is made. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. A selected entrant may be required to provide Sponsor (as defined below) with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry and/or that he/she meets the territorial and age requirements set forth above.

Prizes:
