Wal-Mart Earth Day Every Day School Challenge Rules
Eligibility :
Entrants must be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Entrants must also be an official of the School with the authority to bind the School, OR a non-official of, but in some way associated with, the School (e.g., parent, teacher) with the ability to provide contact information for, and obtain the signature of, a School official with the authority to bind the School. In the event that Entrant’s School is deemed the Grand Prize Winner, Entrant must be able to attend an event at the School between June 29, 2009 and September 30, 2009, with no less than two week’s notice from the Sponsor regarding the specific timing of the event.
Promotion Period :
The Wal-Mart Earth Day Every Day School Challenge begins on April 3, 2009 at 12:01 AM Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) and ends on June 19, 2009 at 11:59 PM EDT (the “Challenge Period”).

Only one Entry per person and e-mail address may be submitted.
Prize (s):
Phase 1: Twenty (20) Finalist Prizes: $500 Wal-Mart Gift Card for Finalists’ Schools, preferably towards products/items/supplies that contribute to the continuation or implementation of eco-friendly activities/projects/efforts.
- Gift Cards will be remitted directly to the schools.
- ARV: $10,000
Phase 2: One (1) Grand Prize: a $20,000 grant to Finalist’s School, to be used for the continuation or implementation of eco-friendly activities/projects/efforts.
- The grant money will be remitted directly to the school.
- ARV: $20,000
Total ARV of all prizes:
$30,000
Winners :
The names of the Finalists and their Schools will be posted on the Site from June 8, 2009 through June 19, 2009. The name of the Grand Prize Winner and his/her School will be posted on the Site from September 30, 2009 through October 31, 2009.
