Hi Suze, My plan was to work until I was 70, but at the age of 64 I had to retire due to illness. The $10,000.00 would really help, until I can find a job.
Suze, I hope I win. My husband just got laid off of his job and all the things you have been telling people about an 8 month emergency fund are so true. I wish I had been watching you years earlier. We would not have lost our retirement fund in the crash. We would not have had the $ in the market at all. Keep telling people to save, save. I ran out of time to try and stash cash before the bottom dropped out for us. Maybe someone else can learn from our hard lesson. I watch you faithfully each Saturday nite.
