What I do because all I have is a flip phone and a kindle is I go to shopplaywincodes.com and there will be a button to push to download the app. After you download the app. You can use your just 4 u account to login. They are discriminating against poor people who can’t afford smart phones too! I’ll meet you outside their headquarters with protest signs. They want in on the user data bucks. The vast majority of apps are devious little programs meant to relieve you of your personal information and people are more than willing to whore out their attention and their privacy for piddling little trinkets like 50 cents of toothpaste.

If it comes down to a decision to purchasing an item from Albertson’s or another store I will go with another store (Smith’s!).

I am 74 and have a PCP, a lap top and a smart phone all of which I can operate. But I can’t make this game work. What was fun to play is now impossible. Guess I’ll go back to Fred Meyer to spend my money.
I always loved playing Albertsons Monopoly – But this new way is NOT FUN. No physical game board or winning pieces & scanning is a pain. If the light doesn’t hit the piece just right, there’s a crease from where it’s folded, the whole bar isn’t in the window then you have to hold it there for the screen to adjust and decide to accept the code. I have to write down the instant wins to remind me the next time I shop what I won. When we had the paper pieces I had physical reminders.
There should be a link for Monopoly wins on the Just for you website to show what we won when creating a shopping list

I went on my laptop to enter the codes, but it takes me to a game board but doesn’t let me enter the codes. This is so screwed up, I have a cell phone, but I don’t know how to scan codes, don’t even know if my phone does that. After reading all the comments, it looks like you cancel culture for those of us who are old school. You pay for these games by charging more for your groceries, guess I just need to drive the few extra miles to shop at Food for Less. We can cancel you too.
I had the same problem. Finally figured (with my daughter’s help) that you just click on 3 of the squares in the center of the board in a straight line like a tic-tac-toe board first, then scan or enter the code to see if/what you win. Lots of bottles of water!? Sure wish their technical writer knew how to clearly state the darn directions! It took so long, plus a phone call and my puter-savvy daughter to get he trained! And now I have only a few days left to enter the stacks of tickets. Frustrating!

Yes, this game is boring. First you have to scan the piece, then you have to guess to try and get three matches. This is really disappointing.

I won a $100.00 grocery card and am unable to print the prize form. I am computer literate and work on computers all the time. This is unacceptable.

I have looked forward to playing this game each time it is offered, but unfortunately I cannot play this time because of the way they have changed it. I too am one of your older customers at 65 years of age and do not have a smart phone and even though I have a lap top I am not all that proficient at using all of it’s features. Because of the change in the game I will not be able to participate. I agree with the other posts that it seems that you are discriminating against your older customers who are not computer savvy and we have been your loyal customers for a very long time. It’s a shame that Albertson’s has turned their backs on their best customers. If you want us to stay loyal you should change the game back to it’s original format (paper board) and keep everyone happy.

You just sign in using your ‘just for you’ or participating store account account such as Acme or Albertson’s.
One your logged in and you enter the ticket numbers, you’ll be able to enter for cash prizes. If it’s a winning ticket, the prize will entered into your account. Again, this is using the website ‘shopplaywin’ on your computer. You don’t need an app on your phone to do this.
If you’ve won a prize and don’t have a smart phone to take a picture of the prize ticket, go to customer service at the store and ask for help.
What is the secret to getting logged into the shopplaywin website? I have been playing this game entering my codes on my computer for at least seven years. This year I am getting an error message telling me that either my email address or password is incorrect and to contact customer service. This is an Albertsons account I have had for years, now this year it does not work. I am not sure of the reason for the rejection except for that is now just for data collection to sell to other businesses. I even tried to reset my password and get no response. Again I believe this is just for data collection purposes. Could be wrong.

I tried going to the shopplaywin.com website like I did last year to enter my codes. I could not logon without signing up for the Just for U app. I do not want apps on my phone as I work on a computer at work and at home. I get the weekly ads and promos from Albertson’s so they already have my information. I am extremely annoyed that my login from five years does not work this year. I guess that I am just SOL.
