Eligibility : The Weather Channel White Christmas Guaranteed Contest is open only to permanent legal residents of the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States or the District of Columbia who are physically located and residing therein and who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older and of the age of majority in their state of residence as of November 16, 2009. Residents of the states of Alaska and Hawaii, and residents of Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and all other U.S. territories and possessions are not eligible to enter or win this Contest.
Promotion Period : The Weather Channel White Christmas Guaranteed Contest (“Contest”) will begin on November 16, 2009, at 12:00:01 A.M. ET and end on December 6, 2009 at 11:59:59 P.M. ET (“Contest Period”).
How To Enter : To enter, access the Contest web site at www.weather.com/whitechristmas (“Web Site”), click on the Contest icon or text link, either of which will take you to the Contest home page. Then follow the onscreen instructions to complete and thereafter transmit the entry form.
Limit : Limit one (1) Entry per person during the entire Contest Period. Two (2) or more people may appear in a Video Submission, but only one (1) entrant may appear in each Video Submission.
Prize (s):
There will be five (5) finalist prizes (“Finalist Prizes”) and one (1) grand prize (“Grand Prize”) awarded. Finalist Prizes: Each Finalist Prize consists of the following: One (1) Weather Channel “Holiday Party” CD, one (1) Weather Channel “Professional Weather Center”; and one (1) Weather Channel gift bag (actual contents, such as a hat, t-shit, etc. to be determined and subject to change at Sponsors’ sole discretion). Finalist Prizes shall be awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsors. The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Finalist Prize is two hundred fifty dollars ($250). ARV of all Finalist Prizes is one thousand twelve hundred fifty dollars ($1,250).
Grand Prize: Grand Prize consists of the opportunity for a winner (“Grand Prize Winner”) to have his/her place of residence decorated with snow (or artificial snow effect) on the morning of December 25, 2009 (“White Christmas Event”) and the opportunity for Grand Prize Winner to participate in a live broadcast of the White Christmas Event at the Grand Prize Winner’s place of residence (“Broadcast”). ARV of Grand Prize is five hundred ninety nine dollars ($599).
