Eligibility :
Ballard 25th Anniversary Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the forty-eight (48) continental United States (including District of Columbia) who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.
Timing :
The Ballard 25th Anniversary Sweepstakes begins on April 22, 2008 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on August 31, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Promotion Period”).
How to Enter :
During the Promotion Period, go to http://www.ballardsweeps.com and fill out the online entry form. Complete and submit the online entry form including a valid home address. P.O. Boxes are not permitted. You automatically will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes and one (1) Instant Win Experience play for that day and advance to the Trivia page. After you answer the five (5) trivia questions presented on the Trivia page, you will receive a trivia score and advance to the Instant Win Experience page. Your trivia score will have no impact on the results of the Instant Win Experience. Once on the Instant Win Experience page, the Instant Win Experience results will be instantly displayed. Potential winners of the Instant Win Experience will be provided directions for validation. All potential winners are subject to verification before any prize will be awarded. Administrator is responsible for the functionality of the Instant Win Experience.
Limit :
Each participant may enter/play one (1) time per day during the Promotion Period.
Sweepstakes Prize:
ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: A $25,000 Shopping Spree at Ballard Designs (awarded in the form of ten (10) twenty-five hundred U.S. Dollar ($2,500) gift certificates redeemable at Ballard Designs stores or online at the Ballard Designs website). Winner is also entitled to a design consultation session with the Vice President of Merchandising for Ballard Designs, Inc. and a Senior Editor for Southern Accents at winner’s home or by telephone (date and duration of consultation determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $25,000.

TWO HUNDRED FIFTY (250) FIRST PRIZES: Tote Bag. ARV: $25.95.

I agree with Vicki and Susan. After spending 15 to 20 minutes to locate Ballard Sweepstakes, I was totally turned off. And another thing, the number of “pop-ups” are ridiculous. Do you realize that it reflects on your company’s public relations?

I cannot believe that it is legal to advertise a contest that no one can possibly figure out how to enter. I have always loved Ballard Designs Catalogue but I am very disappointed that they would be involved in this. It seems that they are only interested in building their E-mail list which is the price that we pay for nothing in return. Rethinking the outdoor matt that I was going to order today!
