  1. Self-esteem workshop I feel is a very good idea with Teens and adult women. The postive and creative images and telling yourself that your beautiful and can do anything that you want,I feel all women need that

  2. In todays world there are so many images that are brought to our children through a variety of forms, that are transfered to the girls that cause feelings of inadequacy, hurt, and frustration. These children are constantly comparing themselves to everyone else. Unfortuantely, on the TV, in ads, Models, these images are not real women. A self esteem workshop can give these girls the oppurtunity and ability to stand up and say that they are beautiful, that one size does not fit all and it is great to be me. I am part of the Girl Scout organization and this could be a wonderful party to be a part of.

  3. I am a teacher of 7th graders in NJ and have started a Girls Club that has been running about 4 years now. These girls are taught to believe in each other and themselves. They are learning how to give back to the community and make a difference. Sadly, these girls lack self confidence in themselves. They come from a blue collar district and always feel that they are “not good enough”. I teach how someone’s beauty truly comes from the inside. When I saw on TV what Dove was doing for girls, I had to immediately sign up. I would love to have a self-esteem workshop for them. If I could not win one, then I would love any information on how to start one for my school. Thanks! Liz Tamargo

  4. Recently, I have been looking for an organization whose mention is to help inner city children and youth. During my research, I found Rae’s Hope, and immediately contacted them to find out information about being involved. I am volunteering with this program and charged with finding information to strengthen their Life Skills and Fiancial Literacy programs. I immediately thought of the Dove Self Esteem Workshops as a resource. Rae’s Hope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and providing healthy living and education programs for youth from diverse social economical backgrounds. The program encourages young people to stay actie through healthy living activities such as sports and educate then by providing etiquette, financial literacy, self-esteem and incorporating math and science in everything that is done. All programs teach youth how to have a healthy body image and live a healthier lifestyle. I found this program to be worthy of my tiime and energy, and I hope you find it worthy of the self-esteem workshop.
