  1. bag suggestion: FRY’S in red letters down the side of a brown bag and from these letters across the bag in green letters RY’S STORE – EUSE BAG — OUR CHOICE – AVE MONEY , so the completed message reads FRY’S STORE – REUSE BAG – YOUR CHOICE – SAVE MONEY

  2. I want to design the bag for Kroger stores, as I am an artist. However the web site just makes me register and sign in, over and over again; can’t seem to get beyond this. I want the bag to be beautiful but also an attribute to the store and to be an incentive for the shopper to fill it with groceries. They should be made of a strong canvas because the ones I have seen will not hold up for many trips to stores where they dump it full of canned goods.

  3. I make shopping bags by cutting plastic bags in strips and crocheting them, also I have made a number of crocheted purses from Jay C bags and would like to make a shopping bag of the Jay C bags to enter in the contest.

  4. I HAVE BEEN MAKING MY OWN BAGS FOR OVER 3 YEARS. I BUY YARN AT FRED MYERS AND CROCHET GROCERY BAGS, SHOPPING BAGS AND THINGS TO GO WITH THE DIFFERENT COLORS, LIKE CELL PHONE HOLDERS. KLEENEX HOLDERS,LATTE COVERS, ETC. I USE ONLY MY HOME MADE CROCHETED BAGS, NOT ANY PLASTIC. CLERKS ALL KNOW ME BY MY BAGS AND FRED MEYERS HAS A NICE SELECTION OF BOTH SOFT YARNS AND THE STRONGER COTTON. I’M TRYING THE NEW RECYCLED COTTON YARN NEXT.

  5. I think the new bag would be great if the lower 1/4 of the bag be rectangle (as the current one) and the lop 3/4 out of sturdy mesh with a draw string closure for the top with two fixed handles as the current bag has and a fixed handle also going from each side of the bag so it could be used over a shoulder. This bag would be easily seen through at the top and would also be lighter in weight. The shoulder strap feature would make it easier to carry when carrying multiples, holding a childs hand or carrying a child.

  6. If you will note my bags #15966 and #15990 were original
fred meyer reusable bags, #16055 is in the makes. I
embroydie designs and sew them on the bags.

  7. On white canvas square bottom bag with a shoulder strap, I would put the same emblem as the breast cancer. The ribbon-on one side of the streamer “Fight Breast Cancer” and on the other streamer “Fight Inflation” all in pink. This would go in the corner. Across the front “Shop Krogers and Fight Both”. This also in pink. Give a percent of the groceries to breast cancer when they use their bags a certain day of the week.
You have a nice bag for two good causes.
