Eligibility :
The GE Switch on the Savings Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 21 years of age or older and have online access at time of entry.

Timing :
Between 12:00:00 AM (ET) on December 29, 2008 and 11:59:59 PM (ET) on February 28, 2009

How to enter:
You may enter the GE Switch on the Savings Sweepstakes by visiting www.gelighting.com/switch. Entrants must complete the registration page in its entirety before entering the Sweepstakes. Entrants must click on the “submit” button located on the entry page to complete the entry process (“Entry”).

Limit:
Limit one (1) Entry per person/email address per day.

Prize (s):

FIVE (5) GRAND PRIZES: GE Energy Savings, which includes the following: (a)$2,000 in cash towards 1 year’s of home energy costs (awarded in the form of a check in that amount — according to Energy Star®, the average family spends up to $2,000 a year on energy bills) (Actual Total Retail Value (“AVR”): $2,000).

FIFTY (50) FIRST PRIZES: $100 spending money (awarded in the form of a check) which can be used towards improving energy efficiency in their home. (ARV: $100).

ONE THOUSAND (1,000) SECOND PRIZES: A certificate for a free GE CFL light bulb. (Estimated Retail Value “ERV”: $5.00 each)

Total ARV of all prizes:
$20,000

  1. Your website says that the switch sweepstakes ended in August.
    Yet there is an ad in tomorrow’s (January 4th) newspaper ads
    sheet with the website and the hontest.

  2. Let there be light! What a famous saying we should all take to heart. LIGHT, if we use it to go into the fuiture or relieve our past we must better ways to do this. SWITCHING, the new catch phrase is one sure fire way to help our planet renew its self and help people be more aware of ways to conserve energy and help their financial budgets just SWITCH to GE Energy Smart bulbs and Light up our future.

  3. I think they,re the wave for our future to save energy as much as possible.Everyone has to start saving,even the new elected obama is starting new energy saving ways at the white house.I think that is fantastic.These light bulbs will really save on our energy bills.
