  1. Ray Winterowd says:

This sweepstakes promotion is so complicated it is a complete turnoff for me. I am not even going to be involved in it.

  2. william wood says:

looks easy onflier with my purchase, but that isn’t true. you can keep your prizes. you make it sound easy, but you don’t take consideration that everyone is not computer savvy. it’s a shame from such a big “outfitter”.

  3. Mark Slawson says:

Good thing I didn’t win a gun! I might get so frustrated trying to enter this sweepstakes I’d shoot myself in the head!Way too complicated! I give up.

  4. Johnnie Woodard says:

Love shopping on line and by phone with Cabelas. The contest entry is hard to figure out. I didn’t know that contest had so many companies tied into the entry. I really thought that I would be entering the contest, just with Cabelas. I never win anything anyway, but I’ll still shop Cabelas.

  5. michael c. poling says:

    great contest

  6. Kim Cegler says:

your kidding! I spent an hour going in circles to enter your truck contest and got no where. what a joke.

  7. Jesse R Dorris says:

this sweeps stakes is pretty sad it reminds me of publishers clearing house.I don`t knqw if i will shop at cabela`s anymore.

  8. J. Davis says:

Where do you find where to enter your receipt code??? I found it on the employee rating, but not on the sweeps section!

  9. Peter Hajdukiewicz says:

Cabela’s I always trust you, but your latest 50 trucks sweepstakes deal is pure idiotic! Find out how easy you made it to enter – you could face discrimination charges if you catch my drift…..

  10. Edward Friedman says:

    Cabela,
Your so called sweepstakes is a total sham. It is a gross demonstration of disrespect for your “valued customer’s” time. Not only am I turned off from your sweepstakes, I am turned off to Cabela’s in general. I will be taking my business to LL Bean and Kitterry Trading Post. I have no confidence that you have it in your capacity or will to get a clue.

  11. Mark Keiser says:

i tried to enter with my store receipt information, was unable to find the correct place to enter this information. This truck sweepstakes is a joke. More problem than it is worth. Very disapointed in Cabelas, thought you have more class than that for your customers.

  12. Gary Jones says:

    Good people working there (noligable).
Dont know where to enter receipt code

  13. gary jinkerson says:

cabelas After reading the words adove,I’m not going to even start looking for your truck sweepstakes entry space .Find a defferant way to advertise. Your to good a company to waste ours and your time on this sh!!.

  14. Richard Doyle says:

    Right on

Gary Jinkerson, I agree with you 100percent. Just another piggy-back scam to sucker people in who are not savvy to the internet.

  15. Mary says:

It took me only 2 minutes to enter the truck sweepstakes, it was so easy even a 1st grader could do it. The rest of you people must be hung over or something! I can’t wait till April 14th when I’m notified of my winnings. That new Chevy Truck will make a great 50th birthday gift from Cabela’s to my husband!

  16. Leon Kroening says:

Hey,I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer,,but how do you enter this?

  17. gary jinkerson says:

Thanks for e-mailing me the application after my little bit of bitchin. You are a very good company. I’ll shop there for a long time to come. Sincerly

  18. Pat Oyen says:

Ok…where the heck do you enter the receipt code? Better yet, could you e-mail me the application…That would be GREAT!

    Thank You
    Pat Oyen

  19. Harry Cherry says:

Please send me an application to enter in the truck sweepstakes for I can’t figure out where to go to to put in the code from my order .

    Thanks

  20. w. wilson says:

Whaaaat the heck cabelas?!?!? This is such a joke!!!!! I always put you above bass pro in customer service, but what a load of crap! This is pitiful move by such a reputable company. Please fix this colossal screwup of a contest! Thanks…

  21. Buzz Soderman says:

This is not user friendly and not the way you should be doing business. I am a card holder and expect better customer service than this confusing mess.

  22. greg dudek says:

Could not agree more with all of the previous criticisms about ability to enter ths sweepstakes. I went over this site 3-4 times and still cannot find the instructions , let alone where to enter my receipt code. Appeard to be a deliberate attempt to discourage folks from entering so you won’t have to give away the prizes

  23. mike rodgers says:

After reading the comments as to the difficulty entering contest, I wont even try. Thanks to everyone for saving my time. And to Cabela’s top brass, Your hunting/ammo prices on- line are not a bargain anymore. Your competition is beating you hands down, I shop and buy from most on a regular basis, Please dont let what i call the “Levitz Affect” bring you down. You may think your the best and deserve more for your product, but we dont see it that way as consumers. And yes, the competion has great service and delivery too. Think about it. And …you should NEVER tick’off your customers with a bad sweepstakes.

  24. Tom Williams, Sr. says:

It took me 5 minutes to enter contest. I do not use computers at all. Just follow directions. Thank you Cabelas.

  25. s.eldred says:

web site very confusing when entering info. Wants to know my password!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is CRAP

  26. s.eldred says:

Cabelas is a great company. Too bad there IT people are like most of the other it people STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is amazing how something so very simple can be turned into an absolute mightmare by a it person that is educated beyond his ability.

  27. Jerry Skopek says:

After trying to enter……I don’t think anyone can get into this B.S.
Cabelas! What kind of customer service is this?
You ment this to be a joke, right?
Everyone, don’t waste a lot of your time on this. Cabelas, shame on you.

  28. bruce crabtree says:

I don’t beleave Cabelas sank this low KEEP YOUR stupid Game!!!!

  29. Kay Cantrell says:

After i tried several times to get into this site, this is shameful Cabela’s, how low can you get to do this to us all. Am done!!!

  30. Randy Tate says:

I have to say I nearly did not try to enter the truck sweepstakes contest after reading all the negative comments. Then I read the one from Mary who was entering for her husband (she’s a keeper). I tried and she was right, it only took me two minutes and I was entered. What’s up boy’s,,,,,,, even a girl can do it!!!

  31. Richard Bundy says:

Everyone, don’t waste a lot of your time on this, that way I can win it. This is one of the easiest sweeps I have ever entered, Thanks Cabala’s for this great contest and if people refuse to shop your store because they can’t figure this out they are not worth having as customers.
    Thanks again
    Rich

  32. Janet Benko says:

Thank you everyone for not being able to figure out how to enter – I SUPER want to win one of these trucks. There are people who won’t even try because others can’t find the magic code. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Four times a day, every day.

  33. steven says:

I wanna enter win a truck sweepstakes how do I do that

  34. david says:

tried to get to Cabelas sweepstake, get this sweepstake mag with no clear info as to how to geet to the cabelas site

  35. Kathy says:

took me only 2 minutes to fill it out….sad you can’t follow direction, guess you don’t deserve a chance to win

  36. Richard Olesko says:

This contest is nothing but a big joke. I don’t need the pop-ups and spam. Cabelas is just another big company trying to get rich off hard working Americans. Sorry I wasted my money in your store. From now on I will support my local businesses.

  37. larry says:

    I’m waiting for my truck

  38. Clarence Herbrandson says:

New store in Allen Texas=fantastic! I have been in cabelas stores in Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Montana – this one compares most favorably.

  39. David Kemmerer says:

I have to agree with what is the majority of the comments in that the site is quite difficult to follow….why is a password needed and when I entered one as I did not have one it was not accepted! Sorry but I guess most of us are just stupid like a few of the folks who figured out said……it is just not worth the time and effort!

  40. kinneth parker says:

I don’t understand what you are trying to do other than increase your e-mail list
