Gap Casting Call Rules
Eligibility :
Gap Casting Call (the “Contest”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including D.C.), who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at time of entry and have photo uploading capabilities as of September 15, 2008. Void where prohibited.
Timing :
The Contest runs between 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on September 15, 2008 and 11:59 p.m. ET on December 21, 2008
How to enter:
Visit http://www.gap.com/castingcall and follow the links and instructions to upload and submit a photograph of your child (the “Photo”). You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child featured in the Photo. There are four (4) categories for Photos. Photos of baby boys who are between 0-4 years of age at the time of submission will be entered into the babyGap boy category. Photos of baby girls who are between 0-4 years of age at the time of submission will be entered into the babyGap girl category. Photos of boys who are between 5-10 years of age at the time of submission will be entered into the GapKids boy category. Photos of girls who are between 5-10 years of age at the time of submission will be entered into the GapKids girl category. By completing the registration and uploading your Photo(s), you agree that your Photo(s) conform(s) to the Photo Guidelines and Content Restrictions as defined below (collectively, the “Guidelines and Restrictions”) and that Sponsors, in their sole discretion, may remove your Photo(s) if they believe, in their sole discretion, that your Photo(s) fail(s) to conform to the Guidelines and Restrictions in any way, in which case you shall be disqualified from the Contest.
Photo Guidelines:
- The Photo must be the property of the entrant’s parent and/or legal guardian
- The Photo must be no larger than two (2) MB;
- The Photo must be in .jpeg format;
- The Photo must have been taken within the last three (3) months of the date of submission;
- The Photo submitted must only include the image of one child;
- The Photo must not be altered or manipulated, except for cropping, red eye removal and adjustment for color and brightness;
- The Photo may be color or black and white; and
- The Photo cannot have been submitted previously in a contest of any kind or exhibited or displayed publicly through any means previously.
Content Restrictions:
- The Photo must not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement;
- The Photo must not contain brand names or trademarks;
- The Photo must not contain photos or artwork not created by entrant;
- The Photo must not contain material that is hateful, tortuous, defamatory, slanderous or libelous;
- The Photo must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and
- The Photo must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state where Photo is created.
Limit:
You may submit up to five (5) Photos during the Submission Phase.
Prize (s):
TWENTY (20) FINALIST PRIZES (five (5) from each category): Finalist winner will receive a babyGap & GapKids photo shoot prize package, consisting of: (i) a trip package for Finalist and the child featured in Finalist’s Photo to the babyGap/GapKids photo shoot, including roundtrip, coach-class air transportation for one (1) adult and one (1) child from a major airport near Finalist’s home (determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion) to San Francisco, CA; five (5) days and four (4) nights accommodations at a hotel of Sponsors’ choice (single room, double occupancy); opportunity to participate in a professional photo shoot where photographs captured will be used for the Voting Phase of the Contest and may, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, be utilized in a future Gap Inc. marketing campaign; and a $500 gift card to cover travel expenses. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $7,000.
FOUR (4) GRAND PRIZES (one (1) from each category): Grand Prize winner will receive: (i) a $3,000 Gap gift card; and (ii) a Snapfish prize pack including a 12″x12″ Signature photobook, a 12″x12″ photo calendar, a sterling silver photo necklace, a 16″x20″ photo canvas, and a $200 Snapfish.com gift certificate. The child of the Grand Prize winner will also be featured in select babyGap/GapKids marketing materials (determined by Gap, Inc. in its sole discretion) during January and/or February 2009. ARV: $3,450.
SIXTEEN (16) RUNNER-UP PRIZES (four (4) from each category): Runner-up winner will receive: (i) a $300 Gap gift card; and (ii) a Snapfish prize pack including a 12″x12″ Signature photobook, a 12″x12″ photo calendar, a sterling silver photo necklace, and a 16″x20″ photo canvas. ARV: $550.
Total ARV of all prizes:
$162,600
Please help!! I have been trying to get in contact with someone, have sent several e-mails. I entered my 2 daughters in this years gap casting call and I have not been able to find them in the gallery nor has anybody else that I know. They have received votes through entering their ID number but their pics are not on the gallery. I would think that it would help if their pictures were posted. I would appreciate it if Someone would e-mail me back………..
please help vote for my son we highly appreciate it and may god bless u and good look to all the other kids wish and hope them all good lucks and to the parents stay supporting our future kids.
